“I mek music to uplift the people some artistes mek music just fi people have fun but I mek music to entertain and educate the masses. My music must inspire people and give them hope,” he said.

The easy-going deejay who is rated by many industry insiders and music lovers as one of the best contemporary lyricists in Jamaican music says he’s not interested in accolades or titles.

“I’m not interested in any form of accolades, Bugle is not a glory seeker, I am not in competition with anyone. Jah has blessed me with a talented and I man grateful for that and I am using it for the betterment of humanity,” said Bugle.

Bugle is getting ready to drop a brand new single title Brighter Days. This song that was produced by Charles Sponge on the Oppress rhythm is slated to be released this Friday on the Sponge Music imprint.

“This song was inspired by conversations that I have with people on daily basis. Most of the times a lot of them want to give up. I always encourage them to stay strong and push through and overcome whatever they’re going through. I know the pandemic is causing a lot of stress and I want people to understand that brighter days are ahead. When you look at life it’s all up to you to decide how you want to live. You’re the one who decides whether you win or lose,” said Bugle.

He added, “I am not the kind of person who puts out music with high expectations, but of course I would love for the public to embrace my music because I want the people to get the message. Sponge and I are going to do our best to push this song so that the message will get out there and resonates with the people.”

This is Bugle’s second release on the Sponge Music label, his first release for the label is a hard-hitting track titled Dutty Foot Can’t Step Clean on the World Press Riddim which was released two months ago.

“This my second release for Sponge Music, Sponge is like a newly a discovered brother to me. We reason on a different level every day and all our conversations are positive and motivational. He’s a positive person and I like working with him so Iam look forward to working with him for a very long time.”

Bugle is also promoting a single titled Infatuation which was done in tandem with Beenie Man, this is a joint production between his An9ted label and Natural Bond Entertainment.
