    Club NME returned to London this past weekend (April 12) with Ladbrokes LIVE to bring big names to intimate settings: this time, Mae Muller at Scala on Friday night, with special guest DJ sets by Self Esteem and Raven Mandella. Here’s what went down…

    Speaking to NME prior to the gig, Muller revealed her ultimate club night floorfiller was Sophie Ellis Bextor’s ‘Murder On The Dancefloor’ and that Dolly Parton was a dream collaborator.

    Friday’s performance was Muller’s first live show of the year and she gave debuts to songs from her 2023 album ‘Sorry I’m Late’.

    Her Eurovision entry ‘I Wrote A Song’ received a live airing, as did a cover of ABBA’s ‘S.O.S’.

    Muller teased her new career as an independent artist ahead of festival dates this summer.
