Jazmine Sullivan: Heaux Tales [RCA]

Jazmine Sullivan’s new project Heaux Tales is about “today’s women standing in their power and owning who they are,” as the Philadelphia singer put it in a press release. The project includes three previously shared tracks: 2020’s “Lost One” and “Pick Up Your Feelings,” as well as the recently dropped “Girl Like Me” featuring H.E.R.

Viagra Boys: Welfare Jazz [YEAR0001]

Swedish post-punks Viagra Boys are back with their sophomore album. Welfare Jazz follows 2019’s Street Worms and last year’s Common Sense EP. The new record was produced by Matt Sweeney, Justin and Jeremiah Raisen, and previous collaborators Pelle Gunnerfeldt and Daniel Fagerström. Viagra Boys released a string of Welfare Jazz songs prior to releasing the LP, including “Ain’t Nice,” “Creatures,” and “Girls & Boys.”
