Casanova’s Sentencing Delayed In Gorilla Stone Nation Case

March 19th, 2023

Authorities once again delayed Casanova’s sentencing in an ongoing case of his alleged gang, Untouchable Gorilla Stone Nation. Moreover, he is one of 18 codefendants facing charges of drug trafficking, violent assault, and the murder of a 15-year-old boy in Upstate New York in a large RICO case. Furthermore, the alleged criminals first faced charges in December of 2020. However, the rapper specifically got hit with charges of racketeering conspiracy, possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime, and conspiracy to knowingly and intentionally manufacture, distribute, or dispense, or possess with intent to manufacture, distribute, or dispense, a controlled substance such as crack, cocaine, or marijuana.

Initially, Casanova pleaded not guilty, and expressed his high profile is what led authorities to him. Later, officials hit him with a superseding indictment in November of 2021. Moreover, it claimed that he and another gang member shot a rival outside of a strip club. Furthermore, he admitted that he shot at a rival over a gambling disagreement in July 2020 while with other gang presenters.

In addition, the 36-year-old acknowledged his role in a 2018 Manhattan robbery that severely injured a woman named Niya Rucker. She claimed that Gorilla Stone presenters attacked her and broke her jaw for filming the rapper during a meal. Also, he continued his confessions and said he conspired to traffic 100 kilograms of weed and is a key gang member. Furthermore, he pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to conduct and participate in the affairs of a criminal enterprise through a pattern of racketeering activity.

Regarding that previous confession, he also pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to distribute over 100 kilograms of marijuana. After all those developments, the court pushed his sentencing back to June 27, 2023. He faces up to 60 years in prison, which practically means a life sentence. Given just how long this case has lasted, it’s unsurprising to see it evolve so much. However, hopefully it translates into actual change and less lives lost- whether to death or to prison. Regardless, stick around on HNHH for the latest on Casanova and the Gorilla Stone Nation case.
