These are Jamaica’s Curfew Hours until March 1

Jamaica’s nightly curfew expired on February 24th and the country was present with same hours as before. 

It was reported that the curfew would start at 8 pm last night Wednesday, February 24th, 2021 until 5 am this morning, these hours will continues daily and ends at 5 a.m on Monday, March 1.

Ten persons are still allowed at public gatherings until February 28. 

The Education Ministry advised schools that only the students who are preparing to sit their exams at Grades 6, 11, 12 and 13 should be in face-to-face classes, and all other students should stay connected through the online set up that was established, along with the distance-learning modalities. 

Under the Disaster Risk Management Act the Government will announce other measures that are due to expire on February 28, they will be made in short order, they will take effect on March 1.

Prime Minister Andrew Holness, encouraged people to stay in their homes as much as they can and reduce movement to only the activities that are essential as they help to do their part in curbing the recent increase of COVID-19 cases in Jamaica.
