Prince Harry Opens Up to Killing 25 Taliban Fighters in Afghanistan – YARDHYPE

January 7th, 2023

Prince Harry details his time serving as an Apache helicopter pilot in Afghanistan and his body count in his forthcoming autobiography, “Spare.” Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex, wrote that he killed 25 Taliban fighters, which makes him neither proud nor embarrassed.

Vanguard reported that the 38-year-old Royal spare served in air attacks between 2007 and 2008 as a forward air controller. Later, between 2012 and 2013, he piloted an attack helicopter.

According to Vanguard, which obtained its information from the Daily Telegraph, Harry says that six of the missions he executed as a pilot entailed “taking human lives.”

“My number is 25. It’s not a number that fills me with satisfaction, but nor does it embarrass me,” he stated in the biography. While saying that he feels neither joy nor guilt about the ones he killed, Harry refers to them as “chess pieces” that he removed from the board.

The eagerly awaited memoir also details a physical altercation Prince Harry had with Prince William over Harry’s wife, Meghan Markle. Harry says he and Prince William were arguing when his brother physically attacked him.
