Here are all the winners from the Golden Globes 2023

January 11th, 2023

ColiThe Golden Globes 2023 took place tonight (January 10) in Los Angeles, with the awards show returning to TV after a year off the air.

The 2022 ceremony was not broadcast after numerous actors, companies and others boycotted its organisers, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) over a lack of diversity and allegations of corruption.

However, the 2023 edition was shown on NBC and Peacock in the US, and will be available to UK viewers later on Peacock and Sky. This year, the film winners were led by Martin McDonagh’s The Banshees Of Insherin, which took home three awards, including Best Motion Picture – Musical Or Comedy, and Everything Everywhere All At Once, which won two awards.

In the TV categories, Abbott Elementary picked up three of its five awards, while The White Lotus, House Of The Dragon and Euphoria also took home trophies.

History was made when Angela Bassett became the first actor to win a major award for a Marvel movie, and Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy sent in a hopeful video message to the event. Elsewhere, Michelle Yeoh and Jennifer Coolidge both reflected on their careers in Hollywood, and Austin Butler responded to claims he still uses his Elvis voice.
