    Dane Thompson, better known as Deenie Ranks, is a Jamaican dancehall DJ and Producer. Born in Kingston Jamaica, where he developed a passion for music as a teenager. Deenie first had success in 1996 with the single ‘Stuck With Your Man’ featuring Queen Yemesi, followed by ‘Good Body Gal’, and 1999 single, ‘Some Gal’ on the Jet Star recording label. Deenie later released tracks such as ‘Bad Man Nah Bow’, ‘New Kids Pon Di Block’, ‘Easy Come’, and many more. From there he decided to move to the next chapter in his career – record production and creating a sound system. His first production was ‘My Time’ featuring Angel on the Frass-Ytes record imprint. Later that year he decided to build a sound system called Fifth Element which was changed by Capleton to Fire Element in 2003. Deenie went on to be a radio presenter on Lighting Fm in South London. Later becoming a presenter / DJ on Beat Fm in North West London. During this time Deenie also produced Rhythms such as Akita Rhythm, Silverback Riddim, and Radiance Rhythm. Over the years Deenie has worked with many artists such as Frankie Paul, Lukie D, and Don Campbell. Currently, Deenie is the Owner of Team Gorilla Music Ltd. which is the parent company of TGMRadio.com, Higheye Qualitas, Swift Affinity, and Caribbean Culture, with his own radio show broadcasting each and every Wednesday from 5pm to 7pm GMT on TGM Radio. He still actively produces music and DJ’s for his Team Gorilla Music recording label and sound Fire Element system.

      TGM Radio is the brainchild of Dane Thompson, a London entrepreneur who set out to realize his lifelong dream in an industry that has standardized on big-name hosts and celebrities.

      The idea of delivering radio over the Internet led Dane to envision a new and different kind of radio station, one that would offer its listeners a variety of original programs with great entertainment value. What he had in mind, however, was a mainstream radio station that offered a variety of light, entertaining programs in the form of live streaming and on-demand listening.

      All new hosts are encouraged to produce their own material and play however they want. This will create a relaxed, creative environment that brings hosts together and lead to a shared effort.

      At TGM Radio Our programs will be of the highest quality. We’ll find you the best radio hosts for our station, so that what you’re listening to always sounds good. TGM Radio programming will have the best music (past and present), the latest hits from charts local and international, news and local traffic & weather.

      Our aim is to Provide a continuous broadcast community radio and online. Give hosts the freedom, and opportunity to express their diverse voices through radio. Create contemporary sound and music and promote it to new audiences. Develop the capacity of the station to enable it to flourish.
