Reggae Singer Da’ville Gets Baptized

Culture artist Da’ville has taken to his Instagram to share with his fans that he has given his life to Christ. In his post, he wrote “Had the privilege to make the best decision of my life. Thanks to everyone who supported, mentored, and encouraged me.”

The post was made with a picture of him being baptized by a pastor in a pool of water. Da’Ville, whose real name is Orville Thomas is widely known for many hit songs including: Always on my mind which is one of his latest hits (featured Sean Paul remix), We’re in heaven and This I promise you (produced by Nap Musiq).

Da’Ville have relocated to live in Florida for a few years now with his family, and have been singing solo after he left the group ARP which he was the former lead singer for with songs like Ready to Perform and Missing You featuring Beenie Man that have topped the charts in the late 90s.

After going solo with his music career he was signed to Penthouse Label own by Donovan Germain, where he dropped hits with covers of Smokey Robinson’s Cruisin, Linda Ronstadt, and Aaron Neville’s All My Life (featuring Marcia Griffiths).

Da’Ville is the son of well-known veteran Deejay Jan Thomas.
