Popcaan Hosts Private “Great Is He” Album Launch Party – See Photos and Watch Videos – YARDHYPE

With the release date for his album, Great Is He, quickly approaching, Popcaan decided to host a private listening and album launch party for his friends and industry peers on Monday.

The exclusive listening event was staged in Kingston, with Popcaan’s girlfriend Toni-Ann Singh, joining him as he celebrated the upcoming release of his fifth studio album. Dancehall artistes Chronic Law and Skillibeng were also in attendance at the private event, with guest social media influencer and singer Starr Dawkins sharing several videos of the party.

Popcaan posed for several photo ops with his guests and appeared to be inseparable from Singh as the pair’s duet, Next To Me, played.

Popcaan debuted the Great Is He title track and album trailer on Friday, and the single’s music video has since amassed over 400,000 views on YouTube. Further teasing fans ahead of the album’s release, the artiste revealed the album’s tracklist in its entirety.

The 17-track project will feature five singles that were previously released and 12 unheard new releases from the Family deejay. Set It, Skeleton Cartier, as well as Popcaan and Singh’s Next to Me were all released in 2022, with Great Is He and We Caa Done, featuring Drake, debuting in January.

Fans of the artiste can expect to hear him flex his lyrical prowess on the new singles: Defeat The Struggle, Freshness, Teach Me, 11th Commandment, Cry Fi Yuh Body, New Benz, Wish No Bad, Appreciation, Past Life, and Memories. The album will also see Popcaan collaborate with Chronic Law on the track St. Thomas Native and Nigerian singer Burna Boy on the single Aboboyaa.

Popcaan recently shared photos and videos from the Aboboyaa music video shoot in Ghana.
