Despite the rumors, feuds, and controversies they got caught up in since the New Year, Aidonia, Popcaan, and I-Octane among several other Dancehall acts have come through with some pretty sick beats this week.
Shaneil Muir and Daddy1 are No. 1 trending in new visuals for their love song, which finds the two playing out gripping acting scenes. Nothing beats I-Octane’s melodramatic mini film however, that mauls the stingy pocket men out there that don’t like to spend on their women.

Popcaan – Relevant
Trending in the No. 4 spot on YouTube JM in just a week since its release is Popcaan’s new single Relevent. On piano assisted acoustics the Unruly Boss delivers another ballad expressing his disappointment with ungrateful friends. The deejay is currently at odds with producer, Markus Myrie over damages to a Toyota Mark X.

Intence & Zimi – New Year
Dancehall artiste Intence is trending in the No. 2 spot on YouTube JM with his new single New Year. It’s been a challenging year dodging from the bad influences around him and even death, but he made it through and for that, he has to “give thanks.”

I Octane – Next
In this 13-minute long music video by Good Good Production, I-Octane sends a strong message to all the men out there, “Woman fi get money.” In the same breath, he also advises the ladies, “Gal, him nu want spend pon yuh body, tell him … Next!”

Aidonia – Dat Eazy
Aidonia unleashes an effortless lyrical flow on the StyleAStyle Riddim with his new track Dat Eazy. Tooting his horn as the dynamic rhymester that he is, the 4th Genna boss says it’s hard for many in this game of Dancehall but for him, “it easy fi we.”

WASP – Not Going Back
Dancehall deejay Wasp worked hard to get where he is in life but coming from eating bully beef and bread every day, he knows one thing is certain and that is he’s “Not Going Back” to that.

Usain Bolt & NJ – Living the Dream
In this real-life story, sprint legend Usain Bolt teams up with his long time friend NJ to show the youths, they too could be Living The Dream. “When life get heavy just keep pushing … believe in yourself, anything is possible,” they lyric in this motivational single.

Dancehall artiste Blak Ryno and rapper/radio host Kay Murda has dropped new visuals for their previously released single MayDay. Calling for all the baddest bees in town, the duo choruses on the hook: “A weh mi bad gyal dem deh, hey Mayday Mayday.”
