The Reggae Boyz are set to tackle El Salvador on Friday, November 12 after which they will return home where they will play against the USA on November 16th at the National Stadium in Kingston. Leon Baily who is yet to play for Jamaica in the FIFA World Cup qualifiers so far because of an earlier injury is optimistic about the match in El Salvador on Friday and outlines that as a team, they need to do better after the shaky start to the campaign.

“I feel good… I’m back i played my first 90 minutes on the weekend… I feel ready to go… We haven’t had a great start but i hope we can turn things around very quickly.. This means a lot for not just the players but also the country.. I think as a team we have to do better and we will… It’s a dream for us all to make it to the next WorldCup,” Said Bailey in the interview.

Currently, Jamaica is sitting at 6th position in the group with 5 points after winning one match and drawing two so far in the campaign, the group consists of 8 teams. The Reggae Boyz needs favourable results to secure the 3rd spot for automatic qualification or the 4th spot where they will have a play-off against a foreign team whereby the winner will qualify for the World Cup.
