Kranium Recruits Rytikal For New Video ‘Block Traffic’: Watch – DancehallMag

January 15th, 2021

Atlantic Records’ very own Dancehall singer, Kranium has teamed up with Eastsyde Records prodigy, Rytikal for a seductive new release entitled, Block Traffic. While the official audio premiered last month, the visuals, courtesy of 300K debuted today.

Block Traffic will appear on Kranium’s upcoming EP, Toxic which is expected on February 12. The 5-track collection will also include his previously released singles, Gal Policy and Through The Window along with the title track Toxic and Won’t Judge.

Block Traffic is a heady serenade of indecent flattery about a love interest while detailing his raunchy sexacapes with her.  As he croons his affection throughout the verses, Kranium reveals exactly what the title of the single really means. “Har p–sy fat, ah Block Traffic plus she smaller dan a ants back pocket…”

Rytikal then inserts his verses to motivate his girl’s lewd behaviors, “Wicked man she prefer, bay killers she give cr-tches … she love the badness and she love whole heap a dollas so she follow Eastsyde…” he deejays.

The duo’s rude lyrical undertaking takes place at the stables on an expansive ranch in St. Catherine, Jamaica to find Kranium tending horses while wooing his leading lady, Dan (@_leadxn) and Rytikal with his, Tashnie Hinds (@goldenxkillax).

Kranium has always been quite selective with his musical collaborations. In a recent interview with Hip Hop Weekly Magazine, the Dancehall crooner says after he’s done working on new music, that’s when he knows who he’d like to voice with on the track.  He expressed his thoughts working with Rytikal on Block Traffic via a promotional stint on Instagram saying, “Some artist naturally gifted and @rytikalmuzic is definitely one of the next to bring the torch.”
