May 6th, 2024

As Drake and Kendrick Lamar‘s lyrical feud continues, an interesting tidbit has come to light regarding the cover art for two of Kendrick’s Drake diss tracks, Meet The Graham and 6:16 In LA.

According to Jamaican-American internet personality and podcaster DJ Akademiks, the cover art used by Kendrick for his diss track covers contained images from items that were alleged to be inside a suitcase that was stolen from Dennis Graham, father of Aubrey Graham, more popularly known as Drake.

At the time when the suitcase was stolen, back in 2021 during a trip to Jamaica, a reward of JMD$1M was offered for the return of the items inside the case and that was when pictures of the items were taken.

A source who spoke to Urband Islandz stated, “The items were in a chest stolen from Dennis in Jamaica in 2021 and the thieves took the photos and got some money to return some of the loot.”
