Jazmine Sullivan Back In Music After Break Due To Domestic Abuse

Jazmin Sullivan is back on the music scene with a new EP, after years of absence which she attributed to the lingering effects of an abusive relationship.

In a recent interview with Joe Budden, the singer stated that after she dropped her 2015 album entitled “Reality show”, she had initially planned to take a break, however, due to the effects of domestic abuse that affected her the absence was a bit longer than expected.

Jazmine told Joe that, she had allowed things to happen to her that she never planned for that turned her into a completely different person.

The singer also said that at times a person might feel as if they are healed, but that might not be the case as she describes that while life is happening, circumstances might surface which triggers off actions caused by the past that might have been ignored due to not knowing their presence is still there.

As a result of what happened to her, Jazmine decided that she would re-enter the scene once more with an EP entitled “Heaux Tales”, that explains everything that happened in her experience.
