ER: Vybz Kartel’s Lawyer ‘Isat Buchanan’ Talks Appeal, Confession Rumours and Prison Life – Video

The Worl’Boss’ attorney Isat Buchanan sat down with Anthony Miller of Entertainment Report recently to talk about the deejay’s upcoming appeal for his murder conviction, music, prison life, reported baptism and confession. The outspoken lawyer outlined that Kartel is not a Christian putting recent baptism rumours to dead!

According to Isat, the method that was used to extract information from Kartel’s phone was backdoor and unconstitutional.

Buchanan outlines that he has no knowledge of Kartel making new music in prison even though Anthony Miller thinks otherwise. Isat reminded Anthony that his client was recently transferred to a more secured prison, from the Spanish Town prison to the Horizon Remand Centre hence his chances of making music would be more limited.

Buchanan explains that he’s a big fan of Vybz Kartel’s music regardless of the content, he also detailed that he loves dancehall in general and was happy to see Spice, Sean Paul and Shaggy collaborating for “Go Down Deh.”

He went on to outline that the Portmore artiste is living in deplorable conditions in a third world country’s prison. He detailed that the deejay has to be using buckets to defecate, urinate and bathe, at times the same bucket is left overnight in the cell. He also reported that Vybz Kartel goes through 24-hour lockdowns.
