    Cause of Dr. Dre’s Brain Aneurysm Still a Mystery as he remains in Hospital

    One week after Dr. Dre was rushed to the hospital, he is still in intensive care, after he suffered a brain aneurysm, doctors still don’t know what happened, sources close to the music producer revealed.

    Dre is still where he was since last Monday. He is in the ICU at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in L.A. The sources said doctors are still doing a number of tests as they try to get to the root problem.

    The Doctors are also being cautious and they want him in ICU, just in case he suffers another aneurysm. Time would be of the essence if that happens.

     doThe Doctors hadn’t revealed if Dre had gone into surgery, but that’s usually what they do to stop bleeding.

    Currently the music legend is comfortably resting, and sources are encouraged that the doctors have cautiously informed his family that a “bad outcome” doesn’t appear to be expected.

    Dr. Dre suffered an aneurysm at his Pacific Palisades home on Monday and he was rushed by ambulance to the hospital.

    Brain aneurysms result in death approximately 50% of the time, and Dre would be one of the lucky ones if he survives. There are many who suffer some sort of permanent neurological deficit if they live.
