Beenie Man Enraged by Viral Video Of Floyd Green On No Movement Day

Embattled Minister Floyd Green was recently seen in a video on a “No Movement day” having a good time with several prominent figures of the Jamaica Labour Party, and veteran Dancehall artiste Beenie Man seems to have a big problem with it.

Green officially resigned on Wednesday, which was also announced by the Prime Minister who also gave information that the matter was also sent to the JCF, as a way to decide on whether they should proceed with charges.

On Twitter, Beenie Man was quick to say something about the matter and went on to make two posts concerning the situation. In the first post, the entertainer wrote, “I was charged and fined for an announcement!”. In the same tweet, the deejay went on to inquire about the consequences of such actions and if charges will be laid for the obvious Disaster Risk Management Act violations that involved the embattled minister.

Many Jamaicans supported Beenie Man’s rant, and the post saw 918 people liking the post and 38 other persons commenting.

In his effort to ridicule the situation that has gotten so many people enraged, the “Who Am I” deejay made another Twitter post by highlighting that the situation does not have to do with any specific political party or person however the entertainer went on to express that the matter is disrespect where it concerns the people.

On April 19 of this year, the entertainer pleaded guilty to the charges laid against him after the Police had booked him for breaching the Disaster Risk Management Act, at a New Years event held in St. Elizabeth.

The “Docta” was eventually required to pay an amount of $150,000, which was less than the amount of $250,000 originally requested.

It is surely understandable why Beenie Man would have felt some type of way after seeing the now resigned Minister on the video.

On a different note, a petition has been seen surfacing the internet, that was created to get Floyd Green back in power as the Minister of Agriculture.
